⚕️ About Me

I am Marcelo Paschoal Pizzut, a psychologist (CRP 07/26008), specializing in the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
My clinical practice focuses on providing compassionate and effective psychological care, primarily for individuals experiencing emotional instability, intense fear of abandonment, and impulsivity—common symptoms of BPD.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as the foundation to help my clients develop emotional skills, build healthier relationships, and achieve a more balanced and purposeful life. Additionally, I address all psychological issues listed in the DSM-5. You can view the complete list of disorders and issues I treat at:

My Mission in Treating BPD
My mission is to demystify Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), promote high-quality information, empathy, and reduce the stigma surrounding this diagnosis.
I strive to empower my clients, helping them develop skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and achieve greater emotional stability. All of this is approached with a welcoming, ethical, and evidence-based practice.
Why Specialized Treatment is Essential
Impact of BPD
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) affects between 0.7% and 2.7% of the Brazilian population, profoundly impacting the lives of those who live with it.
Key challenges include difficulty regulating emotions, instability in relationships, and a often distorted self-image.
However, with specialized treatment such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), it is possible to significantly reduce suffering, promoting greater emotional balance, self-awareness, and quality of life.
