📜 Group Guidelines

To maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, we have established these clear rules:

1. Be mindful of triggers and sensitive topics (Very important)

It is not permitted to discuss methods of suicide or self-harm in this group. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, please seek help clearly by using phrases such as: “I need help” or “I am having suicidal thoughts, can someone help me?”.

It is essential not to share methods or plans for suicide, nor words that encourage such actions. This is a space dedicated to supporting life, and we are here to help each other overcome difficulties.

If someone explicitly expresses an intention to commit suicide, they will be automatically removed from the group to ensure the well-being of all members, especially children and vulnerable individuals who may be affected by these triggers.

Remember, our goal is to support and protect everyone’s mental health.

20. Inclusive environment

Prejudices are absolutely prohibited in this space.

We value and respect the diversity of experiences, identities, beliefs, and backgrounds of each individual. All members must be treated with dignity and empathy, regardless of their personal, cultural, religious, or any other differences.

Our goal is to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels safe, welcomed, and respected, without fear of judgment or discrimination. Any form of discrimination, whether related to sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, social class, or any other aspect, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Everyone has the right to express themselves freely, provided they do so with respect and consideration for others’ experiences. We prioritize building a space where acceptance and mutual support are fundamental, and any prejudiced attitude will be immediately addressed to ensure everyone’s well-being.

21. No financial requests

Financial transactions or requests for material assistance are not allowed. Non-compliance results in a ban.

22. No promotion of drugs

It is strictly prohibited to promote the use of substances, including marijuana, alcohol, or any other substance that lacks scientific evidence for the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), such as psilocybin, among others.

This space aims to promote evidence-based practices and the well-being of all members, and we cannot support or encourage the use of substances that may harm participants’ mental or physical health, especially without proper scientific backing.

23. Experiences

In this group, we encourage you to share your personal experiences, including conflicts, struggles, and daily challenges. However, we ask that you avoid trivial or everyday posts that would be more suitable for platforms like Facebook. For such content, we suggest finding another group or using your personal Facebook profile.

24. Hate speech and violence

This group adopts a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of hate speech, violence, verbal or physical aggression, or any manifestation of moral or physical violence.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming space for all members, and any violation of this guideline will result in the immediate and permanent removal of the offender. Preserving the respect and integrity of each person is our non-negotiable priority.

25. No promotion of other psychologists’ services

This WhatsApp group, established by Marcelo Paschoal Pizzut, aims to support individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and promote the psychological services offered by him.

Members are requested to avoid promoting other psychologists’ services, although contributions related to psychiatric services are welcome due to their complementary relevance.

Consultations are offered at adjusted rates based on a social fee scale, aiming to make psychological care more accessible. Additionally, sharing educational resources about BPD and mental health, even from other specialists, is encouraged to collectively enrich our understanding and knowledge in these critical areas.

26. Adherence to guidelines

Everyone must commit to these rules to maintain a healthy environment.

Note: If you don’t receive a response after asking a question in the group, understand that members may be unavailable. Do not take it as rejection. For those with BPD, learning to manage frustration is a vital step toward emotional balance.

👨‍⚕️ Attention: The role of psychologist Marcelo in the group

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a condition that can present numerous challenges for those living with it. With the advent of technology and social media, new forms of support and interaction have emerged for people facing similar issues. One such channel is the WhatsApp group dedicated to supporting individuals with BPD, and the role of psychologist Marcelo in this group is fundamental.

1. Main administrator:

As the group administrator, Marcelo is responsible for ensuring the space is safe, respectful, and beneficial for all members. He monitors conversations and interactions, ensuring the environment is conducive to sharing experiences and mutual support.

2. Content moderator:

Marcelo carefully selects what can and cannot be posted in the group. This is done to ensure content is relevant, safe, and aligned with the group’s objectives, avoiding potential triggers or misleading information.

3. Guide:

Marcelo’s role is not limited to moderation. He also guides members on how to support each other effectively and empathetically, fostering an environment of support and understanding.

4. Facilitator, not immediate responder:

It is important to understand that Marcelo’s role is not to answer questions in real-time or provide immediate therapy in the group. The focus is on members helping each other by sharing their experiences and coping strategies.

5. Mutual support:

The group is not a substitute for individual therapy sessions. Those seeking personalized counseling or facing crises should seek appropriate care. The group’s primary purpose is to promote peer support, where members help each other through shared experiences.

6. Private sessions:

If someone feels the need for a private therapy session, they should seek care outside the group. Marcelo provides a direct channel for this through the link: https://www.psicologo-borderline.online/2022/12/contato.html.

The WhatsApp group under the supervision of psychologist Marcelo is a space dedicated to mutual support among individuals with BPD. By creating a safe and regulated environment, it allows members to benefit from sharing experiences while reinforcing the importance of appropriate professional support when needed.
